Stand up and be a man Steve Tew. Give Sonny Bill Williams the flick. New Zealand rugby will do just fine with out him and the All Blacks have already proved that.
What he is trying to weigh up is whether he should take the NZRU offer, which will be a top of the scale offer, and stay for another year. He has openly stated that he only wants to play one more year in New Zealand. It's been bandied around that he and Australian super villain Quade Cooper are looking at a combined deal with the Sydney Roosters in a return to the NRL. Supposedly the deal is worth a cool $1 million for a season. The other option he is pursuing is a deal with an overseas rugby club, possibly back in France where his rugby career started.
He played a minimal role in winning the Rugby World Cup. He couldn't knock out Ma'a Nonu or Conrad Smith for a start in the midfield and finished up behind Richard Kahui and Cory Jane as a make-shift winger. So why the special treatment? It has to be about money and it's almost sickening. Get rid of him and his ridiculous Anthony Mundine led posse.

What the hell is wrong with the press, we don't want to hear any more about this turn coat sonny bill williams, yes all lower case because that's what he brought to our wonderful game RUGBY, nothing, just a low standard of value to a jersey, (AB)that we kiwis & the best part of the rugby world respect. Good on you R Chamberlain, I've just read your article and it's the 2nd of Jan 2012, better late than never.
